October morning arbor

On a late October morning, the fog rolls across chilly pasture and field to silhouette the arbor at the Lavender Lawn.

Drying hops vines and final roses of the season rise above the lavender, trimmed back and ready for its winter rest.

The view from the Farm Kitchen Garden Room is one of peace.
