It's Pruning time around the Farm

All in a day of pruning the apple trees...... a toast of sorts.
Our arborist Lisa found one of last years champagne glasses tucked in a crook of the tree while she was pruning today. The things you uncover as we ready the plant life for the summer weddings and events at Farm Kitchen.

Part 3 - on to Can Tho, south Viet Nam

We traveled from Danang south to the heart of the Mekong Delta to Can Tho. One morning on the way to one of many floating markets we came upon a bride and groom. Reminding us of the summer of Farm Kitchen weddings coming up soon.

The floating markets are full of big and small boats hauling melons, potatoes, bananas, meats, beverages, rice, variety of fruits.

Tasty sweet small bananas and a boat full of cabbages. Many farmers sell to smaller land and water based shop owners.
